We are particularly pleased by this newest release. Sierra Leone was one of the jewels of British Africa. In recent years, it has suffered through some troublesome years. Happily, the country is regaining stability and re-asserting itself as a desirable tourist destination. We have been fortunate in receiving considerable assistance from the Sierra Leone Tourism Authority in the updating of this map, which also includes a large inset map of Freetown, the country’s capital. For those of you in ‘the trade’, our new cover picture is of Isabella, the better half of Keith Ferries, current President of IMTA EAME. If the background seems more English than African – just pretend!
The map is printed, single-sided, on paper.
We can laminate this map, which will allow you to draw on it in whiteboard marker or apply map dots to locations of interest without permanently marking the map. The lamination also makes the map very durable and protects against tears and stains.
To laminate this map we have taken the folded map and flattened it out before encapsulating it in high-quality 80-micron laminate, so please be aware that there will still be slight fold lines visible.
