China is a fascinating country. Most visitors limit themselves to the eastern portion – Beijing, Shanghai, Xian etc. The vast western half of this great country contains such exotic cities as Kunming in the south, Lhasa in Tibet, and the fabled Silk Road cities of Kashi, Aksu, and Urumql, as well as the enormous Taklimakan Desert and the high, isolated, Tibetan Plateau. Never has this part of China been better mapped, with all new highway projects prominently noted as well as the new train line into Lhasa – one of the great engineering projects of our times.This map is double sided for detail.

We can laminate this map, which will allow you to draw on it in whiteboard marker or apply map dots to locations of interest without permanently marking the map. The lamination also makes the map very durable and protects against tears and stains.

To laminate this map we have taken the folded map and flattened it out before encapsulating it in high-quality 80-micron laminate, so please be aware that there will still be slight fold lines visible.
