World Executive Antique Style National Geographic 1540 x 1020mm (Pacific Centred) Large Laminated Wall Map with Hang Rails

The World Executive National Geographic political map is an entirely up-to-date map of the World presented in an elegant antique style. This beautiful map uses rich earth-tone colours to show the World in astounding detail. The map uses a Pacific-centred projection of the World, which gives a different interpretation of the standard world map, typically Africa-centred.

This extremely high-quality map is a striking piece of art and a perfect reference tool for your home or office. The warm colours blend seamlessly with the decor of most rooms. 

This map's sheer amount of information is impressive; smaller maps in the bottom corners show population density, vegetation, and land uses.

The map is printed on quality 120 gsm FSC matte-coated paper using fade-resistant pigment-based inks from Hewlett-Packard. It is then laminated between two sheets of 80-micron gloss laminate.

The high-quality laminate in which the map is encapsulated allows you to draw on or apply map dots to locations of interest without permanently marking the map. The lamination also makes the map durable, protecting against tears and stains and acting as a UV filter.

The easiest way to hang your map is by having wooden hang rollers attached to the top and bottom with a hanging cord on the top roller, so all you have to do is put a hook in the wall. The hang rails come lacquered in a natural timber colour.  

This map uses the Winkel tripel projection to reduce distortion of land masses as they near the poles.
