100k Topographic Maps
Geoscience produces a series of 100k topographic maps for Australia.
How to order:
Step 1: In the drop down menu above you will find the top selling 1:100k Topographic Maps, which you can "Add to Cart".
Step 2: If you require another map not listed, choose OTHER (which is at the bottom of the list).
Step 3: Once you have selected OTHER and have clicked on the "Add to Cart" button you will be taken to the "My Cart" page, where you can then enter the name of the map or maps you want into the box which says "Tell us about any special instructions:".
Step 4: In the "My Cart" page you can also increase or decrease the number of maps you would like by changing the number in the box marked "Quantity".

Topographic maps show contours, spot elevations, streams roads, buildings, place names, vegetation and administrative boundaries. They are used by emergency services, environmental resource managers, engineers and others, for planning , development and recreational activities.

When looking at the index it is useful to know that the1:100k maps are the small boxes, there are six 1:100k maps contained within a 1:250k map. The 1:250k maps are designated by the blue boxes or in the case of specials by a purple outline. Importantly only the 1:100k maps in green are available the ones with a brown background do not physically exist even though they have been named.
